How to Shop

Shopping is easy at NTS – browse through our range of products and when you see an item you want to buy, simply add it to your basket. You can then either continue shopping for more items or proceed to checkout.

At the checkout you will be required to enter your details and choose your method of payment - for online payments you will then be redirected to the relevant online payment processor with your transaction’s details already filled in. For offline payments, postal instructions will be displayed for you.

A receipt for your order will be sent to you using the email address you supplied during the checkout process. This receipt will show your unique order reference, the items purchased and the total value of your order. If you wish to pay offline, the items you have selected will be reserved for you for 7 days, after which time your order will be cancelled.
All nappy trial kits will be issued with an authorised receipt for any reimbursement from a Local Authority incentive scheme. In the event of a return requesting a refund, this will not be processed without the original receipt.

Payment and Delivery

We accept credit and debit cards online through our secure Protx checkout or over the telephone, or alternatively you can pay through Paypal. We accept cheques and postal orders (made payable to ‘TreeHugger Mums Ltd' in UK Sterling only).
If you pay by credit/debit card or Paypal, we aim to dispatch your order within 3 working days of payment. For orders paid by cheque or postal order, your order will be dispatched within 3 working days of receipt of your cleared payment.
Please allow 7-10 working days from receipt of payment for delivery of your order, although in most cases your goods will arrive sooner than this. If we are aware of any reason why your order might be delayed, we will notify you by email.

Delivery Charges

Postage and packing is charged at £2.95 to UK destinations for all orders. We are currently able to ship to UK, European and BFPO addresses - unfortunately we are unable to ship to the US or Canada.

Returns Policy

We are happy to refund or exchange goods if returned in their original condition, i.e. unused and unwashed in their original packaging, within one month of your order. Unwanted goods must be in a re-saleable new condition, we cannot refund or exchange used and/or washed goods, unless faulty. We may repair/replace used faulty goods as appropriate. We are not able to refund your return postage costs unless items are returned within the cooling off period as stated below, or the items are faulty when they arrive, in which case these should be returned for full refund or replacement under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. This does not affect your statutory rights.

By law (Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000) you have a seven working day cooling off period which starts when you receive your goods. If you wish to return any or all of your order, which must be unused and in their original condition and packaging, you must do so within 7 days of receipt of your goods, stating 'Contract Cancellation' as your reason for return. We will refund your item/s and the appropriate proportion of your original P&P charge, however you must pay for the cost of returning the item/s to us. When returning goods you must include your invoice – kits returned without invoice will not be refunded or exchanged. You should obtain a certificate of postage, please ask at your local Post Office for advice. Customers wishing to return goods are solely responsible for the items in transit. Items lost on return will not be refunded so make sure that you obtain the correct amount of insurance so that in the event of a lost parcel you will be able to seek compensation.

Whilst we aim to process returns as quickly as possible, this may take up to 3 weeks during busy periods.

We do not disclose any buyers information collected by ourselves either by email or given at the time of ordering to any third parties. This information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Cookies are used on this site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. We may from time to time use your postal and/or email address details to send you further information which may be of interest to you. The NTS Forum

By posting in the NTS forum, you are deemed to have accepted the following rules.

• Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
• Links in signatures may include a link to a commercial website or specific product, provided that no pricing is listed and that the site does not violate the NTS community standards. Links to adult sites or sites which promote illegal activities are not allowed.
• Animated avatars or avatars which may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed. Offensive avatars may be removed without notice.
• While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice, and our decision is final in these matters.
• Advertising should not be included in the General Chat section. Private individuals can advertise items for sale in the Nappy Classifieds section of the forum, and businesses may advertise special offers etc in the Nappy Business section. The Contact Member system should not be used for advertising or spamming other members – any member who is found to have abused this facility will be warned in the first instance, and will be banned if they continue to abuse the system.
• We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate Nappy Trial Service community standards. The Nappy Trial Service team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
• Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
• Breaches of the forum rules will generally result in a warning in the first instance, however we reserve the right to revoke the membership of anyone who continues to violate the forum rules.
